Below are a list of endowed scholarships that you can donate to online via ParishSOFT. There is an option to give one time or have a recurring donation for each fund.
The advantage of an Endowed Scholarship is that it is permanent. The donor funds it with a predetermined amount — $25,000, $30,000, $50,000. Once established, the original principal can never be touched. Over time, the accrued interest provides the school with money that can be used on an annual basis for student scholarships. Again, it’s another example of a sustainable funding model for Catholic education.

The Arlene C. Tate Memorial Scholarship
Mr. Thomas N. Tate created this scholarship in memory of his beloved wife Arlene C. Tate, who died in March of 2013 after a difficult and heroic battle with esophageal cancer. It is Mr. Tate’s desire that this scholarship be used to provide financial assistance to a student in need. We are grateful to Mr. Tate for his generosity to Saint James Catholic School and are proud to honor the memory of such a beautiful and accomplished woman.

The Christopher H. Louloudakis “Most Vibrant Pupil” (MVP) Scholarship
Christopher was a third grade student at Saint James Catholic School who suddenly died on November 24, 2022. Christopher was a well-rounded student who let his light shine brightly wherever he went. He made others laugh, helped those in need, and asked questions — lots of questions. Christopher was a vibrant young man who brought joy to everyone he met. He was truly an MVP!
Christopher’s mother founded this scholarship to recognize students who live like Christopher did and to continue his legacy of joy. Each year, three students (3rd, 4th, and 5th graders) receive a $500 scholarship that goes towards their tuition.
