Established in 2012, the Saint James School Annual Appeal keeps our 100+ year old school competitive, accessible, and affordable to all who desire a Catholic education. The SJS Fund makes up the “financial gap” between the school’s annual tuition and what it costs to educate each student. We are proud of the enrichment programs that our parish school provides in advanced math, music, art, technology, and robotics. These programs keep our school competitive with other private schools but require yearly financial support.
As Bishop Burbidge stated in the Diocesan strategic plan “We need to invigorate Catholic education for all” by making it “affordable and accessible” through the development of “sustainable funding models.” The SJS Fund is an example of a sustainable funding model for parochial schools.
