Please put Saturday, September 26th, on your calendar. In addition to our parish picnic, we are also hosting the 21st annual Nun Fun Run (NFR). All proceeds raised will be donated to Camilla Hall—the Convent Home and Healthcare Center for our retired IHM Sisters. It will be held in B Lot from 7:30am-9:00am—a few hours before the start of our parish picnic.
The first race was held on September 17th, 2005, in honor of the school’s year-long Centennial Celebration. Twenty-one years later, we are still gathering on a Saturday morning in September to “Run for (and with) our Nuns.” Won’t you join us for this FUN Saint James tradition?
To participate as a runner, a benefactor, or simply a cheering bystander, visit the Greater Giving Website at sjsptova.ejoinme.org/RegisterNFR2026 or scan the QR code. You can register for the race, sponsor a teacher or IHM Sister, purchase a NFR T-shirt, or make a straight donation in support of this year’s run at the Greater Giving Website.
If you wish to make a donation via check, please make it payable to Saint James Catholic Church with “Nun Fun Run” in the memo line and mail it to Kathleen Anderson, Saint James Catholic Church, 905 Park Avenue, Falls Church, VA 22046.
